We've reached the second round of the 2017 ship bracket!  Did your favorite ship survive?

Update from Christina: Hi everyone! I've played with and reset the settings on the polls people reported issues with and they should all be working properly. If you find they aren't, it could be a problem on your end. Try resetting the cookies on your computer in that case and it should clear up any problems.

And please remember, if you try to circumvent the system and vote for more than the allotted amount you will be automatically locked out by Polldaddy. That is something out of our control. And please please please be kind to each other. This is an exciting project for ALNM, but the hateful comments and rude personal messages we receive takes a lot of the fun out of it. We would love to do this each year and would hate to have to cancel it.

Because I don't know how long people were experiencing technical problems with the polls, the end of the round has been pushed out to 9:00 PM PST Thursday February 2nd.

The polls are set up to allow everyone to vote once an hour. Polls close at 9:00 PM PST on Wednesday February 1st. Have fun!

All the polls for the first round of the ship bracket are now open! Polls close at 9:00 PM PST on Sunday January 29th. Check out the rules below:

• HAVE FUN! Vote, leave a comment about why you ship who you ship, share the links with your friends, and just enjoy the competition! No bashing or insulting your fellow participants.
• The system is set to allow one vote per person per day. I'm sure some will find a way around that. Just know too many votes in a row will cause the system to independently lock you out. We have no control over that because we are too cheap to get a higher level PollDaddy account.
• Once polls close, results will be immediately viewable there. A recap post will follow shortly after. The next round of voting will be made available a few hours later (depending on how fast I can type).
• The results of the final round will be hidden temporarily and revealed on the following episode of the podcast.
