Episode 042 - “Comic Con Special” Episode Length: 45:11 Episode Summary: It's time for episode 42! We're delving into our first experience as Comic Con badge holders! We'll tell you all about what we did on the convention floor (the good, the bad, and the horrifying), how we became internet famous at the NerdHQ Teen Wolf panel, the amazing Omni, and our Star Trek: Beyond viewing experience. As always, we remind you of the outlets where you can follow us, tweet us, download our episodes, or contact us. Stay tuned for episode 43, which will be all about Hamilton. This week’s featured music: "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls The Band: Panic! At The Disco The Song: "Bohemian Rhapsody" The YouTube Link: Where you heard it first: I just saw Panic! At The Disco on tour with Weezer, and they performed this cover. Why it’s been stuck in your head: This is one of those songs people should be told not to perform on reality shows unless they really really know they can pull it off. Most people can't. Brendon Urie can't. He really doesn't get enough credit for his vocal range and I love a song where he can put it on full display. Why you recommend it to our listeners: From what I've been hearing, I think people will be liking the Suicide Squad soundtrack far more than the movie. -C
The Artists: Renee Elise Goldsberry, Jonathan Groff, Brian D'Arcy James, and Andrew Rannells The Event: #Ham4Ham from October 24, 2015 Why it’s been stuck in your head: This is by far my favorite song in Hamilton and watching it performed by the Georges makes it even better. All their dance moves and Renee's version of Aaron Burr makes this lip-sync extravaganza one of the best #Ham4Ham shows I've seen so far. Although I'm sure my lovely co-host would beg to differ. Why you recommend it to our listeners: If you love Hamilton as much as Christina and I do, you probably would want to watch this again and again. And if you've never heard of Hamilton, welcome back to the real world. Listen. Enjoy, And sing along! -- Kelly Lee
