• Star Wars: Episode VIII will hit theatres May 26, 2017 and the first of two spin-off films, Rogue One, will be released on December 16, 2016
• Tim Burton to direct a live-action adaptation of Dumbo 
• The first production stills of The Maze Runner sequel The Scorch Trials are released showing Thomas and the gang making their way across the treacherous Scorch
• Frozen 2 is officially in development!  Actress Kristen Bell, the voice of Princess Anna, celebrates with the cutest tweet.  (So please ignore our fandom news item in our upcoming episode where we say that the sequel is no longer in production.)
• There are talks of a possible sequel to Disney's Big Hero 6
• Toy Story 4 adds co-director Josh Cooley to share the credit with John Lasseter

Misc News

• Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke are to pay nearly $7.4 million in royalties to Marvin Gaye's family for reportedly ripping off the late R&B singer's 1977 hit "Got To Give It Up" in their 2013 hit song "Blurred Lines".  Not sure if you believe there are similarities?  Listen to a mashup of the two songs and decide for yourself!
• Robert Downey Jr. gives a bionic Iron Man arm to a young fan in need.  The boy, Alex, was born with an under-developed arm and the actor worked with The Collective Project to bring him the ability to ride his bike.
