Episode 018 - “Warbler in Spandex”

Episode Summary:

In our eighteenth episode, we begin with lots of fandom news covering everything from Christina’s excitement over the San Francisco Giants in the World Series to casting for Peter Pan Live and the return of Bill Hader and fan-favorite Stefon to Saturday Night Live.  We recap the season and series premieres of some of the CW shows like Arrow and The Vampire Diaries and Kelly fangirls over Daniel Sharman having his accent in The Originals.  We talk about the new season of Sleepy Hollow and how much we missed it and share our obsessions with Halloween Wars and Madam Secretary.  Our main discussion is all about our favorite new show on The CW: The Flash!  Did anyone guess that it was going to be as good as it is?  We gush over Grant Gustin and the need for a musical episode because of Grant Gustin, Jesse L. Martin, and Carlos Valdes of Starkid fame. In our secondary discussion, we recap Christina’s visit down to Southern California for the CHOC Walk with Kelly, supporting CHOC Children’s Hospital in Orange County.  We spent 16 hours at Disneyland with our friends!  Is 16 hours of Disneyland too much?  Does “too much” Disneyland even really exist?  For the first time in ALNM history, we have a second place for our Episode MVP and it goes to Josh Dallas being a perfect annoyed dad on Once Upon A Time.  Our first place Episode MVP is the Warbler in Spandex himself, Grant Gustin and we continue to gush over his awesomeness and his CW hair.  As always, we share our ship moments and remind you to keep watching all your favorite shows new and returning!  Be sure to tune into our next episode where we discuss some very important developments that were revealed this week!  Have a safe and fun Halloween!  Happy Halloween, ALNM friends!
