-- Kelly Lee Let’s go back to: CHOC Walk 2014!
The CHOC Walk is a charity walk put on by CHOC Children's Hospital in Orange County, California. The walk takes place at the Disneyland Resort throughout Disneyland Park, Disney's California Adventure, and the Downtown Disney District. Each year, the walk sees over 15,000 participants and raises millions of dollars for the premier children's hospital in Southern California. Since its inception in 1990, the CHOC Walk has raised over $24 million that has helped advance the health and well-being of the children seen at the hospital. Disney characters and cast members come out in droves to support the walkers and cheer them on in the early morning hours of early October. Why it means something to you or to our podcast: Last year, your two co-hosts participated in this great event together for the first time. It was my fourth CHOC Walk and Christina's very first. I think it's safe to say that it made quite an impression on her. This year, we're back at it again. We'll be gathering our friends and family to join our team, Team Tiger, for another great year at CHOC Walk and we need your help to get there! As a former patient of CHOC Children's, this is an organization that is not only my day job, but is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. Make sure you check out this amazing organization. How can you help?: You can donate to Team Tiger 2015 right here and help us get a sponsorship for this year's walk. Every little bit helps! You can also create your own team or walk as an individual by signing up here!
